This program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the machining industry. Students will develop skills in blueprint reading, mathematics, drafting, and soft skills to better prepare them for employment.
This certificate is a stackable credential that can lead to top-paying jobs in machining. Students completing this certificate can start entry level positions in some of the following: Machine Operator (CNC or conventional), Machinist, CNC setup technician, and CNC programmer, to name a few.
Admission to the Career Studies Certificate program is based upon the general requirements for admission to the college.
